At Haave we make outdoor kitchens with beautiful and durable materials. Each outdoor kitchen is made up primarily of two materials: the material for the counter top and aluminium for the cabinets. Here you can read more about the materials that you can chose from when you chose our outdoor kitchens.
Concrete is extremely robust and can be custom-formed for any outdoor kitchen design. When sealed, it resists moisture, stains, and temperature changes. Its strength and design flexibility make it a long-lasting choice for outdoor surfaces.
Concrete offers endless possibilities for customization—choose from a range of colors, textures, and finishes, from industrial chic to smooth and minimalist. Its raw, modern look adds character and a contemporary edge to your outdoor kitchen.
Terrazzo consists of marble, quartz, granite, or glass chips set in a cement or resin base. It is highly durable, resists cracking, and can withstand heavy use and varying weather conditions. Terrazzo is also easy to clean and can be customized in color and pattern, making it both practical and stylish for outdoor kitchens.
Terrazzo is celebrated for its playful, speckled appearance and endless design possibilities. Its colorful chips and polished finish create a vibrant, eye-catching surface that brings personality and artistry to your outdoor space.
Composite is an engineered material, made from a blend of wood fibers and recycled plastics or high-performance resins. This combination results in a surface that is exceptionally durable, low-maintenance, and highly resistant to stains, spills, fading from UV exposure, and moisture. Composite does not warp, rot, or crack over time, making it ideal for outdoor kitchens exposed to changing weather conditions.
With a wide array of colors and textures available, composite can beautifully mimic the look of natural wood or stone while providing a sleek, uniform finish. Its clean lines and contemporary appeal enhance the overall look of any outdoor kitchen, blending beauty with practicality and modern design.
Quartzite is a natural stone even harder than granite. It is highly resistant to scratches, heat, and weathering, and its dense structure absorbs very little water, making it ideal for outdoor use in areas exposed to rain and humidity.
Quartzite dazzles with its crystalline sparkle and dramatic patterns, often resembling marble but with even greater durability. Its luminous surface and natural beauty make it a standout feature in any outdoor setting.
Marble is a strong natural stone with timeless appeal. When properly sealed, it resists moisture and can handle temperature changes. While it needs some maintenance to prevent staining, marble’s durability and elegance make it a popular material for outdoor surfaces.
Each slab of marble is unique, with beautiful veining and subtle color variations that add a sense of luxury and artistry. Marble instantly elevates the aesthetic of any outdoor kitchen, making it a true centerpiece.
Ceramic surfaces are fired at high temperatures, making them extremely hard, non-porous, and resistant to scratches, stains, and UV radiation. This ensures they won’t fade in sunlight, are easy to clean, and can handle both hot and cold weather—making ceramics a reliable choice for outdoor kitchens.
Ceramics come in a stunning variety of colors, textures, and finishes, allowing you to create a sleek, modern look or mimic the appearance of natural stone. Their refined surface brings a sophisticated, contemporary touch to any outdoor space.
Our kitchens have aluminium cabinets with a powder-coating finish. Aluminum is a top choice for outdoor kitchens thanks to its natural resistance to rust and corrosion. When finished with a powder coating, it stands up well to rain, humidity, and even salty coastal air, making it ideal for year-round outdoor use. Its lightweight quality means it’s easy to work with, allowing for flexible and modular kitchen designs that don’t require heavy foundations.
Aluminum also handles heat exceptionally well, so it won’t warp or degrade near grills and other cooking appliances. It cools quickly after use, making your outdoor kitchen safer and more comfortable. The smooth surface is simple to clean and doesn’t harbor bacteria, which is a big plus in any kitchen. On top of its practical benefits, aluminum brings a modern, stylish look to outdoor spaces, with plenty of options for finishes and colors. It’s also a sustainable material, as it’s fully recyclable. All of these qualities make aluminum a reliable and attractive material for outdoor kitchen projects.
You can chose which color to paint the aluminium. These are our choices:
Most of the outdoor kitchen configurations also have drawers besides just cabinets with doors. The inside of the drawers are made from stainless steel. A material that is also very durable in bad weather conditions. Everything on the outside, that the weather can touch, is powder-coated aluminium. Do you want to know more about the materials we use?
